What do I need to learn
The introduction of the Module One and Two tests has given us the opportunity to revise our course layouts to make it clearer what you can expect to learn on our courses and give you a clearer idea of the standard needed to pass each test.
We have split the syllabus into four sections, each section will normally take a day to complete but we all learn at different rates so do not worry if a section takes longer to achieve, an extra days training can save you the cost of retaking tests and can work out cheaper in the long run.
Click on the links below to go to the relevant section to see the syllabus and standard of riding expected.
CBT Courses ( Compulsory Basic Training )
The CBT is designed for riders with no previous experience and so covers all of the basics.
The Intermediate course will put in place all the basic skills needed to ride safely before progressing onto a larger bike and/or the Module 1 test
Level 1 Course ( Module 1 Test )
The Level 1 course will polish your control skills, cover everything you will need for the Module 1 Test and cover a large part of the road riding skills needed for the Module 2.
Level 2 Course ( Module 2 Test )
The Level 2 Course will polish up your road riding skills giving you the confidence to pass the Module 2 test and more importantly deal with Bristol traffic.
Level 1 Course ( Mod One Test )
Level 1 Riders will hold a CBT certificate, be expected to have passed the Theory and Hazard Perception Test, and will be either already riding to Intermediate course requirements or have completed a Intermediate course satisfactorily
