Restricted (A2) Licence

Sick of paying £1.20 a litre for fuel ?, we can't help you with that but we can help you make it go a lot further, invest some money in taking an A2 restricted licence. This is the cheapest way to gain a full bike licence, you will have a 33bhp restriction for two years, but 33bhp is plenty for running around town and commuting to and from work for distances up to 20 miles each way. You will also need to take this route if you are under 21 years old.

Step 1 complete a CBT.

Step 2 pass the Theory and Hazard Perception Test.

Step 3 take the  Intermediate, and Level 1 and Level 2 courses with Kickstart to pass the motorcycle test.

Test Booking Scam Warning

There are some  on-line scams at the moment if you are booking a test with the DSA, a Theory test costs £31.00p, a Module One test is £15.50p and a  Module Two test costs £75.00p these are the prices the DSA charge us and we do not add on a margin if you buy a test from us. There are however several on-line sites which charge a " booking " fee, one of our customers was charged £47.00p for a Theory test a nice fat £16 profit for some body ! Make sure if you are booking on-line you are on the official site and do not pay more than the official fee. Use the links below and if you use Google to find the booking site do not use the highlighted sites at the top of the listings.

 Practical Test Booking Link

If you are booking a practical test but plan to use one of our bikes or need an Instructor to accompany you on a DAS test call us and book it through us, it will not cost you any more and it will make sure a bike and or instructor is available.

Training for the Module 1 Test

Training for the the Module One test is not a problem, the test itself only involves  the ability to move the bike by hand and being able to use the stand, some slow speed exercises, the avoidance manoeuvre and being able to stop the bike quickly.

These are all things which are pretty much covered on a CBT, none of it is very difficult and the test breaks down into separate sections which are easily learnt one at a time.

At our Keynsham centre we have room to practise most of the exercises on site, and we have access to a training area large enough to carry out mock tests if we feel there is a need.

Our Clevedon centre has enough room to practice all of the Module One test exercises on site.

Book a CBT On line

Compulsory Basic Training, or CBT, this is designed for new riders, passing this will validate your provisional licence for a moped or 125. You will also need a CBT to take a Practical Test.
