Kickstart Motorcycle Training run CBT, A2, and DAS courses in Bristol and Clevedon
Kickstart
Kickstart Motorcycle Training has two training centres, Keynsham and Clevedon. We run Compulsory Basic Training, A2 and Direct Access Scheme motorcycle training courses from both centres.
Our Keynsham centre ( between Bristol and Bath ) is just a 10 minute ride away from new test centre in Bristol. Which means easy access for your Module One test and plenty of time around the Module 2 test routes.
Our Clevedon centre is at the Hand Stadium, Davis Lane, Clevedon, and has a Module One Training area on site. You can take your Module 2 test in Weston super Mare or Bristol.
Established in 1997 we offer a friendly and professional service and are more than happy to talk about which motorcycle or moped training course would be best for you, with no pressure and without the dreaded sales script, just give us a call on 0800 0198919.
All of our Instructors are Driving Standards Agency approved, and most have additional qualifications. Click on the About Us Button to see who we are.
We also have an increasingly popular club organising runs and events, and occasional special offers, click here to go to our Face Book Page to see what is going on. Anyone who has a connection to Kickstart is welcome to join.Compulsory Basic Training

Compulsory Basic Training, training is the important bit, it is not a test. You need to have completed a CBT to validate your licence to ride a moped, scooter or motorcycle on the road, ( there are a few exceptions please get in touch if you are not sure ). You can take a CBT at either of our centres, Keynsham or Clevedon. Please note, most people will complete the CBT in a day, but not everyone will have reached the required standard after a day and further training may be needed.
Direct Access Scheme

DAS stands for Direct Access Scheme, this is the course to take if you want to ride an unrestricted motorcycle. You will need to be 21 years or older.
This course is a lot of fun and in our opinion is the ideal way to get into motorcycling. You will start off on a 125 cc motorcycle and progress onto the larger bikes when sensible. Starting on a 125cc means you won’t feel intimidated by the weight and power of a 500cc motorcycle and we can teach you all the basics easily. Once on a larger bike you will soon get used to the extra weight and power of a “proper” motorcycle and we can build up your skills and confidence levels. So you should easily pass the test.
Discount Tuesdays
Discount Tuesdays, a day out for CBT, 125cc A2 licence or 500cc Direct Access training for a bargain £100 inclusive ! The usual high quality tuition as always with fully qualified instructors, and yes the bike is included. What you will get is a solid days training built around what you need to do to pass your bike test. Give us a call on 01179 866200 to book.
